Set in Reggio Calabria and with Reggio Calabria Lido reachable within less than 1 km, Malalbergo offers a tour desk, non-smoking rooms, a terrace, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. During our one day stopover in Reggio, Calabria we had the pleasure of staying at these immaculate premises, which were clean, well positioned and excellent value for money. We would certainly stay there again if we visit Calabria. We particularly want to thank Laura for her kind help and advice during our stay at her place !

Casa di Chiara is located in Crotone, within less than 1 km of Crotone Beach and 2.9 km of Lido Azzurro Beach. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. The property is like a palazzo in the heart of the historic centre of Crotone. The rooms are very spacious and have the highest ceiling I have ever seen! The staff are really friendly and helpful and the breakfast served in the morning is the typical of this hotel category in Italy - ok for the money that you pay. I would choose it again. Set in Tropea and within 1.8 km of Lido Alex, First Hostel Tropea features a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. The staff are amazing mostly the woman from Argentina. They were very kind to me. (Sorry about the PowerPlug)

Grand Hostel Calabria is located in Pietrapaola, within 41 km of Sibartide Archaeological Ruins and 18 km of Waterpark Odissea 2000. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were courteous and efficient. Half way through the week we were given a tray of anti pasta which although unexpected was a nice gesture. The hostel was above a supermarket so food and drink were readily available as the room had no facilities other than a fridge. Please remember this is a hostel and not a hotel. It was good value for money.
