There are so many places to eat!
There are so many places to eat! The food is excellent pretty much everywhere. The focaccia si to die for and so is the farinata! When visiting Lavagna you can forget about the car and if you wish to visit 5 terre the train is very convenient! Smoking should be banned in all beaches, though!FrancescaGermany - 8.0Scored 8.0

Clean air. Very calm city. Most importantly, you can visit other places while staying in Lavagna, by train or by boat. the food is excellent. Very friendly waiters and owner of the restaurant. You can walk to the beach in 7 minutes, to the train station in 10 minutes and to the city center in 10 minutes.I have never had a headache and never had allergies.AAnonymous - 8.0Scored 8.0
Small coastal town with cheaper accommodation than other...
Small coastal town with cheaper accommodation than other towns in the area. (ie Portofino). Good rail service. Church of St Stephen is well worth a visit as the interior is spectacular. Not a huge choice of Restaurants but you will not starve!!. Some nice shops.

The apartment itself was in superb condition and the hosts could not be more helpful and friendly with everything you would need to cook, wash or have a quick coffee. Lovely building and is located near the walking zones and the sea. It took only a comfortable 5 minutes to walk to the beach. There is a supermarket open till ca. 23.45 in front of the hotel if you needed something to buy. The signora knew perfectly when to serve our aperols.

Bed was comfy and the shower amazing. Breakfast was fabulous and I must point out that the staff were great! The promenade was right in front of the hotel and was a delight to walk on in the evening.
