My stay at the Mercure Hotel in Wellington over the Easter period was an absolute delight. The hotel's prime location allowed for easy exploration of the city, providing a perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. The room exceeded my expectations, offering comfort and luxury that enhanced my holiday experience. Every detail, from the tasteful decor to the attentive service, was tailored to ensure a memorable stay. It was truly a home away from home, and I couldn't have asked for more from my Easter getaway.

Very spacious, and clean, very central, 2 bedroom, 2 toilet apartment. Easy access, love the balcony. Has everything you need in kitchen, even has a separate laundry. Very close to restaurants, recommend Pandoro Panetteria accross the road for breakfast. Great communication with owner, easy instructions to follow for access and keys. Optional garage space , at small extra cost which gives you peace of mind for car security. Definitely will book again when we're back in Wellington. Very highly recommended A++

Luxurious looking rooms with a central location in Wellington. The long entryway in the room is a great concept more hotel need to employ as it cuts you off from some of the hallway noise, and gives a nice little kitchen/desk space area. Very comfortable beds, great bathroom. The complimentary snacks/drinks in the room were a great surprise as Americans used to those sort of things costing extra in hotel rooms. Very responsive and helpful owners.

The beds were so comfortable. We loved that the bed wasn't too soft or hard, but just right. The hotel room was the perfect size, with a full window view. It does get a little chilly at night, but we weren't too worried as we had A/C on. Before we arrived we had trouble getting into Wellington due to traffic delays, so we had a late check-in. We got in touch with the customer service team, and they were very accommodating! Thanks so much.

The apartment was amazing. It was spacious with lovely decor & had everything you needed to prepare a meal in the kitchen. It was great to have parking for our car in the driveway. It was an easy drive from the airport & to visit Wellington. The nearby beaches were beautiful & we spent both of our evenings there watching the sunset. Our host was very friendly. It was all so wonderful, we wish we had been able to spend more than 2 nights.

U Residence Hotel has exceptional quality. Fresh and clean, no unwanted smells, no unwanted bed bugs, thoroughly clean from top to bottom. We were over whelmed with how welcomed our bichon maltese was. She was treated to a surprise upon arrival with a cozy doggie bed and a bowl of doggie treats. Wonderful manager, friendly staff. Located within walking distance of Wellington's top attractions. We will definitely visit again :)

• A great option if you want to be centrally located and need parking. • Within walking distance of most of the CBD, easy access to Lambton Quay, close to cable car, waterfront, museums. • Great views of Wellington Harbour from high floor Double Room with Harbour View. • Excellent Boulcott Street Bistro is across the street. Fabulous! • Nespresso Machine and coffee - nice!

I was travelling to New Zealand with my sister to see our brother and flying down to the South Island from Wellington. Anam Cara is about 45 minutes drive, so we decided to stay somewhere peaceful, and this fitted the bill perfectly. Everything about the place is top quality, and it's set in remarkably well maintained grounds. Don't hesitate to book.

The hotel was in the perfect location to explore Wellington, near some amazing restaurants, shops and cafes in the heart of Cuba Street. The decor is very cool and quirky, and there are some lovely touches that make your stay really special. My son especially loved the free lolly station! The restaurant and bar downstairs are also amazing.

This is my favourite hotel in Wellington. It used to be called the Art Hotel. I love the hotel's eclectic and artistic design, which blends quirky and modern elements. Our room was spacious and tastefully decorated. I loved the bathroom; we had a bathtub and shower with all the required toiletries. The location is also a major plus.

This Quest location is awesome....staff was great and the modern hotel space was laid out really well and very clean! The in-room washer /dryer is awesome if you need it. Great walkable location - book it! Note - The must-do Wellington Cable Car is literally a few minutes walk from the Hotel entrance....do it!

Close proximity to the activity I came to Wellington for and met my needs on this occasion. Because of the nature of my visit to Wellington I did not need to use any of the hotel facilities other than the room so cannot rate these. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and tidy.

Location was excellent - we were in Wellington for a family function that was in the city centre so it was perfect. Overall, the apartment was very clean, and the beds comfy - if it wasn't for the lack of furniture in the lounge area, it would have been perfect for what we wanted.

Location was excellent, right in the Wellington CBD & so close to Michael Fowler Centre. Loved the apartment we stayed in, really surprised by the spacious living rooms. Also great there was a washing machine & clothes dryer supplied in the apartment.

The two bedrooms that I had trouble finding in a hotel in Wellington for a reasonable price. Was happy not to have to share a room with our kids. The room is close and walking distance to everything you may need. The little kitchenette was handy to have.

The hotel has great character, the staff are super friendly. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. The location is perfect and walking distance to all the Wellington CBD areas. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our second stay at The Intrepid Hotel as we enjoyed our first visit so much. Still the same great atmosphere, complementary snacks and great location. I has become a favourite place to stay when we visit Wellington.

Staff was very accommodating and opened the fitness room for me a little early. The location is close to Cuba Street and to the Wellington Cable Car. The breakfast was good with a good selection, but no fresh fruit.

A fine hotel w/ kitchen, somewhat up the hill from the centre of Wellington, and down the hill from the botanic gardens. A good base for visiting Auckland on foot. Room was well appointed. We had a good stay.

Just walk shortly from Blueridge Ferry, crossing the road and Hotel Waterloo is at the corner at the other side of the road. In the morning we ve just walking 2-3 minutes to find the bus to Wellington Airport.
